COMMUNITY GREENHOUSE GAS AND ENERGY COORDINATOR Cherry Hill Township seeks an enthusiastic, organized, and dedicated person to serve as a part-time Community Greenhouse Gas and Energy Coordinator. The position will work as part of a team, including Cherry Hill Township, the College of New Jersey, and the US Environmental Protection Agency, to assist government, residents, and businesses to lower their greenhouse gas emissions. Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a prior commitment to Green House Gas issues. Training will be provided, however, prior experience with community organizing, outreach campaigns, canvassing, energy issues, the New Jersey Clean Energy Program, or Sustainable Jersey, are a plus. The position is funded by a 2 year grant from the USEPA Climate Showcase Communities grant program. Salary commensurate with experience. Part-time Instructors for Youth, Adult and Senior Programming. The Cherry Hill Recreation Department is seeking part-time instructors for new and existing youth and adult workshops. Each season, the Recreation Department runs a variety of courses in sports, art, music, crafts and enrichment subjects for residents of all ages. Courses are held in various locations throughout the Township including Town Hall (820 Mercer Street), Croft Farm Arts Center (100 Borton’s Mill Road) and many of the Cherry Hill Public Schools. EMT/Paramedic - Cherry Hill Fire District # 13 The Board of Fire Commissioners of Cherry Hill, NJ is currently accepting applications to establish a hire list for future EMS positions. Full-time Career and Per-Diem positions will be appointed from the hire list.
Candidates must meet eligibility requirements as set forth in NJ Statutes NJAC:8:40A: Emergency Medical Services Regulations. Three years field experience as an EMT in a 911 EMS system is required. Paramedic certification and experience is preferred. The candidate must successfully complete the EMS selection process, including written, practical and physical ability testing, medical and psychological examinations, and a thorough background investigation. Candidates will be scheduled for an examination session by submitting a Preliminary Application, EMS Questionnaire and credentials, as well as meeting the eligibility requirements.
