As Cherry Hill moves further into the 21st century Mayor Bernie Platt and Town Council commissioned a Web site that will allow all residents, businesses and historians access to more than 150 years of local ordinances and resolutions passed by the governing body. Now as a community, unified by good government and citizen participation, the people of Cherry Hill will be able to search all local law going back to 1844. This new searchable archive will provide transparency and convenience for our neighbors to download these documents of the past.
Mayor Platt and Town Council are continuing to take a hard look at other documents to put on the Web. Please stay tuned for more information as we, as a municipality, continue to push for more access to actions by the governing body and access for individuals to engage their local government.
The ordinances and resolutions and/or any other documents that appear on this site are not the codified version of Cherry Hill Township’s Ordinances. For current legislation and specific questions, please contact the Township Clerk’s office directly at (856) 488-7892.
Currently, this project is under construction and does not include resolutions from 1935 to 1986. They will be added to the repository in the near future. |
